What information do we process?
Flirtee is a service for adults, and we provide that service by operating a social network site offering users the opportunity to connect to our global community of users. By joining to our service, you enter a legal agreement with us and we process your data in order to provide your service under the terms of that agreement. You can only become a member of the service or use its features if you’re aged 18 or over or the age of majority in the country in which you reside if that happens to be greater than 18.
To join the service you will have to complete our online registration form, where we may ask you to provide us with information about you such as your name, your email address, your gender, your date of birth, your location details. You also have the opportunity to provide other details about yourself, but these are optional. You control your profile and have constant access to this data in the "Profile" section, where all data can be corrected or updated (except for the name, email address and id number).
Please be careful about posting sensitive details about yourself on your Profile such as your religious denomination and health details. While you may voluntarily provide this information to us when you create your Profile, including your sexual preferences and ethnic background, there is no requirement to do so. Please remember that photographs or any video clips that you post may reveal these kinds of sensitive personal data. Where you do upload and choose to tell us sensitive data about yourself, you are explicitly consenting to our processing your information and making this public to other users.
For safety and security and to ensure you have the best possible user experience, we require users to verify their accounts and might ask for your phone number. We want to make sure you are not a robot! And we also want to avoid fake accounts being created which can be used for malicious activities and cyber crime – they threaten the service and spoil things for everyone. We use a third party provider for account verification who will keep your phone number for up to 90 days for fraud identification purposes. We collect and use your phone number on the basis of our legitimate interests identified above and for the prevention of fraud.
If you decide to purchase any of our premium services, we will process your payment information and retain this securely for the prevention of fraud and for audit/tax purposes. Under data protection law, it is necessary for us to collect and process this payment data to enable us to perform our contract with you and our ongoing retention of this data is justified by our legitimate interests set out above.
To provide users with a free, non-premium service, we process a series of data (demographics and location) to attract targeted advertising for their legitimate interests, including the transfer of such data to advertisers. You can limit the transfer of such data in the settings, but you will still see advertisements, although they will be less relevant to you. In the security settings of your device, you also have the ability to prevent or restrict device IDs that will be passed on to third-party advertisers, as well as how to use these identifiers.
Finally, we want to keep in touch with you to make sure you know about the great promotions and offers we have available. If you’ve told us it’s OK, we will use your email address and phone number to send you information on these. You can withdraw this consent at any time via Settings in the app or website.
What data is collected about me if I use a mobile application?
Wherever you are, with Flirtee you have the opportunity to communicate with your friends, make new acquaintances, and stay in touch with your contacts that you have purchased with our service. You can do this using a mobile phone or by visiting the official website.
When you use a mobile application or visit our official website, we collect information about your language, as well as your location (latitude and longitude). This information helps us determine your physical location so that we can determine the language of your region and provide an opportunity to communicate with people near you.
If you have enabled the location function, but you want to turn it off, you can do this in your system's system settings.
We and advertisers who are our partners can also store and use the identifier of your device to provide you with targeted advertising inside the application. You can opt out of targeted advertising by setting the appropriate settings in your profile. You can also refuse to provide data to third parties, but you will still see general ads in the application.
How long do you keep my data?
If you do not use your account for 24 months, your profile and any data will be deleted. When you request the removal of your profile via an application or website, it immediately becomes unavailable and completely deleted within 30 days.
Our correspondence with our support team will be kept longer so that we can use it for any subsequent requests that may arise. Such correspondence deleted after 3 years in the absence of requests.
Anonymous information about activity on Flirtee persists longer for statistical data and marketing research, but it does not correlate with you after deleting the profile, that is, becomes anonymous. This is because we seeks to develop its services and opportunities for more convenient communication and this period is justified by our legitimate interest.
Information such as billing information, IP addresses, mobile numbers and e-mail addresses is retained to combat fraud and spam as long as it is relevant. Usually this period is determined by the period of validity of the method of payment.
What information do you collect about me if I’m under 18?
We do not knowingly collect any information about or market to children, minors or anyone under the age of majority. If we become aware that a child, minor or anyone under the age of 18 has registered with us and provided us with personal data, we will take steps to terminate that person’s registration and delete their Profile information. If we do delete a Profile because you violated our no children rules, we may retain your email and IP address to ensure that you do not try to get around our rules by creating a new Profile.
What information do you collect about my friends and contacts?
You can choose to invite your friends to join Flirtee to make sure that they also get the benefits of meeting new people. To make it easier to search and find friends and acquaintances on Flirtee, users may search for other members by email address. If you want to invite your friends and contacts to Flirtee, we will send an email invitation from Flirtee in your name or you can send an SMS (if you use our Android or iPhone App) to your friends and contacts encouraging them to sign up to Flirtee. If any of the individuals you have invited do not register within a few days, Flirtee may occasionally send reminder emails on your behalf to those individuals. You can choose to invite all your friends or only a select few by simply unticking the names of those friends you do not wish to invite, but please remember you must not invite any children to join. You are responsible for ensuring that your friend has agreed to receiving a Flirtee invite.
When you import your contacts, we save your name and email address to be able to automatically associate you and your friend. We do not sell these email addresses and do not use them to send any other messages except for the invitation. Your friend can contact Flirtee and request the removal of his information from our database by visiting the feedback page or by writing to [email protected]. This request will only apply to the addresses and phone numbers received by us at the time of the request, but not to addresses provided later.
Who do you share my data with?
We can provide third parties, such as payment systems, advertisers, postal services, aggregate information that includes your personal data (but does not directly identify you) together with other information, including third-party data, for market analysis and demographic data to show relevant ads about other products and services.

We ensure these parties must adhere to strict data protection and confidentiality provisions that are consistent with this Policy. Measures are taken to ensure that the data shared is non-attributable to the greatest extent possible.
In the event that Flirtee or any of its affiliates undergoes a business transition or change of ownership, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, re-organisation, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, or in the event of insolvency or administration, we may be required to disclose your personal data.

How do you protect my personal data?
We have implemented appropriate security measures to protect and prevent the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under our control, including your personal data. Our technical experts work hard to ensure your secure use of our site.
While we take reasonable precautions against possible security breaches of our website, member database and records, no website or internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee that unauthorised access, hacking, data loss, or other breaches will never occur. We urge you to take steps to keep your personal data safe (including your password) and to log out of your account after use. If you lose your password or give it out, or another service provider that you use suffers a data breach and you have used the same credentials with that service provider as you have with our service, your personal data may be compromised. If that happens, please report it to Support via our Feedback page.
Where is my personal data kept?
To ensure the smooth operation of our service and you can always stay in touch with your friends, we use a network of servers including outside the European Union. This hardware is located in third-party data centers, but belongs to Flirtee. The data collected by our advertising partners can also be stored outside the European Economic Area. We guarantee that the data will be adequately protected and that existing legal schemes such as those approved by the EU and the countries hosting the software and hardware for confidentiality will be respected, and reliable contractual standards will be implemented. If you want more information about our security measures, please write to us at [email protected].
Do you collect any other personal data about me?
If you contact our support team by writing to [email protected], we will receive your email address, and we can track your IP address and the information you receive from us to help solve your problem. We will keep records of our correspondence with you, including any complaints that we receive from you about other users (and from other users about you) within 3 years after the deletion of your account.
For what purpose do you use my personal data?
We can use the materials that you place in the public domain, for advertising purposes on the sites and in the applications of our partners. This meets our legitimate interests and allows us to improve the service and make it more attractive to users.
We use your personal data to resolve disputes, resolve problems and enforce our Terms of Service.
What are ‘cookies’ and what ‘cookies’ do you use?
We collect information by placing cookies on your computer or mobile. A cookie is a piece of text stored on your computer or mobile by your web browser. They are basically a tool that stores information about website visits, recognises you and your preferences each time you visit our service, and ensures site functionality and enables us to provide the services our members request.
When you visit the publicly available sections of service, a session ID cookie is placed on your computer that only lasts while you’re visiting. We also place persistent cookies (also known as local storage devices) on members’ computers, so that service remembers them and makes their login experience faster and easier. We may use persistent tracking cookies on your mobile device, mainly for security protection purposes, such as to prevent phishers, scammers, unauthorised login attempts, and to help you access your hacked account. We do not use any information whilst you are logged off.
You may set your browser and your mobile settings to block cookies and local storage devices, but if you do so, you may not be able to access the features that we offer.
